Xixu
Xixu is by day a professor in a suit at a prestigious university, but by night he’s a Punk rock dude. Sober day and drunken night, but remains a great guy at both time of the day. This picture is dedicated to him, dedicated not because he’s dead, but because he left us to Spain.
Lily
Vliegenhart
This painting is dedicated to a very eccentric landlord in Rotterdam who helped out a lot of expat with their housing problem. He is of great character and can be seen everyday of the week driving around the city with his rusty 1998 Hyundai van that is completely filled with house keys, while blasting out Opera music. His meeting office takes place at a cafe next to Central Station entrance, welcoming for the arrival of lost architect expat who probably needs a home right away. Many have their wish granted.
